OVERVIEW:

Provides Human Resources (HR) services and support to Saudi Arabian employees participating in Out of Kingdom (OOK) training assignments in a variety of specialties that may include engineering, IT, pipelines, research, and other related fields. Responsible for program management throughout the lifecycle of the program (sourcing, negotiation, contracting, visa, monitoring, etc.) and maintaining the integrity of the company’s policies and practices. Manages on-the-job (OJT) training programs and trainee-related employee relations and services.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Manage portfolio of training assignments for employees assigned to programs in North America
  • Review employee training assignment requests from Saudi Aramco business lines to determine appropriate host company matches.
  • Arrange interviews for Saudi Aramco employees with target companies in North America.
  • Develop collaborative training outlines for 12-month technical and professional assignments.
  • Alternate Responsible Officer for the Student Exchange and Visitor Information System (SEVIS).
  • Issue visa documents and advise employees and host companies on federal regulations.
  • Respond to a high volume of requests from Saudi Arabian counterparts and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate orientations, meet-and-greets and virtual meetings for multiple audiences.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations of trainee programs.
  • Submit regular reports on trainee and company activity.
  • Manage emergent projects as assigned.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in HR, Education, Business, Instructional Technology or related field of study.
  • Some knowledge of immigration regulations affecting assigned area (J and F)
  • Typically, at least six (6) years of experience in a human resources, education, or training field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of professionals and executives throughout large organizations across multiple industries.
  • Must be able to comprehend and communicate accurately, clearly, and concisely in English.
  • US Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident required per federal requirements.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:

  • Primarily office environment.
    • Regularly required to stand, walk, and bend with good balance, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
    • Regularly required to sit, perform repetitive duties, use standard office equipment and to talk and hear.
    • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus is needed.
    • Occasionally required to lift, move and carry up to 10 pounds.
  • Travels approximately 0-5% of time to meetings, conferences, or university campuses in Houston and throughout North America.
