BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for evaluating Quality Management Systems (QMS) of Aramco Americas suppliers at various vendor facilities for compliance to Aramco and Industry standards.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

  • Plan and conduct assessments of the vendor’s Quality Management System at Supplier facilities in order to verify compliance with ISO 9001:2015, the Supplier’s Quality Management System, Aramco Specifications, and other applicable industry/quality standards.

  • Directs the work of contract QMS assessors

  • Report assessment results and provide qualification approval recommendations.

  • Monitor and close out identified corrective actions as a result of the QMS assessment.

  • Provides consultation and interpretations to National Codes and Saudi Aramco engineering and technical specifications related to quality assurance and quality control.

  • Keeps up to date of latest developments in quality assurance, inspection methods, standards, practices and procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with ten (10) years of industrial experience, of which five (5) years are related to quality assurance/quality control. May consider candidate with high school diploma with two years' technical school training who demonstrates the ability to perform the assigned job tasks, which typically is gained from fifteen (15) years of directly related experience.

  • Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job as outlined.

  • Knowledge of American National Codes required, including ISO 9001:2015. Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies and standard business etiquette.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:

  • Operates standard office equipment,
  • Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and database functions in the Windows environment.
  • Travels to conduct supplier assessments
  • Climbs ladders, catwalks, scaffolds as necessary to inspect all phases of fabrication and manufacture of equipment, vessels, and structures.
  • The job requires the typical physical demands of an office environment and is normally performed in a building that is an air-conditioned, well-lighted office building that meets building, safety occupant health, and facility access codes.
