The Information Technology Department serves as the global communication hub for Aramco Americas and its affiliates, as well as, Saudi Aramco.  Its range of activities include providing core networking and communications infrastructure, in addition to finding and developing applications that can increase organizational efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Information Technology Internship Opportunity

Disciplines: Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
We are seeking a motivated and curious AI/ML Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in developing, testing, and deploying machine learning models and AI-driven solutions to solve real-world business challenges. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to contribute to ongoing projects and explore innovative applications of AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and implementing machine learning models for classification, regression, clustering, or NLP tasks.
  • Clean, preprocess, and analyze structured, unstructured datasets and vectorize Database.
  • Collaborate on model evaluation, tuning, and deployment strategies.
  • Document findings, code, and processes for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills in C#, .Net, Python.
  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn).
  • Understanding of basic ML concepts: supervised/unsupervised learning, overfitting, cross-validation, etc.
  • Experience with data manipulation tools (e.g., data frames, Pandas) and visualization libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, chart.js).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

 

Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) Opportunity

Disciplines: Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

This internship offers experience and exposure to assist with cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance management responsibilities.

Typical activities include:

  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, organizing documentation, and supporting team communications
  • Assist with risk and compliance assessment documentation
  • Update dashboards and track remediation efforts
  • Support vulnerability management tasks like scan tracking and exception documentation
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams on GRC initiatives
